Hannah's Senior Portraits

Oh, how I love doing senior portraits and this session was one of my favorites.  Hannah was so much fun and notice how she can pull of everything from a serious face to a full broad smile?  I can't do that.  Even when I think I'm doing a pleasant face, it always seems to come off annoyed or disgusted.
We just moved our family up to Noblesville, Indiana, so I'm still seeking out the best photography locations.  Hannah picked out the Noblesville Square and a great covered bridge just down the road.  Both were such great locations and I found myself falling in love with our new home even more!  I must say, it helped that it was an unusual 70 degrees November day, though.

The Severinsens

I had the privilege of photographing these adorable families, all part of the Severinsen family.  They had gathered from all over for a massive family reunion (5 generations, 70 people) which I also had the privilege of photographing, (phew!). Compared to that, shooting a family this size was easy breezy.  I really did have so much fun.  It was a beautiful morning and a wonderful family.

The Chapman Family

Oh man, even at 8 in the morning, family portraits in Indians in July can be a dangerous move.  You just don't know what you're going to get, and as luck would have it, we got hot and humid.  At least it wasn't raining.  (The downpour literally started as we parted ways at the end of the session.)  This adorable family was full of troupers though, and we had fun shooting some family portraits down by the river and on the playground at Hummel Park.

Senior Portraits with Asya

I got to do Asya's senior portraits this last weekend and it was SO much fun.  Asya picked out a neat graffiti wall in Broad Ripple, Indiana.  The brick walls, chain-link fences, and colorful graffiti made for such a fun urban feel.  Then we rounded it out by going over to Broad Ripple park to take advantage of the beautiful trees still in bloom.

Happy Birthday, Arabella!

I got to do a fun, 1st Birthday photography session for little miss Arabella this last weekend.  She was a doll.  We even had a smash cake for her which she delicately explored and enjoyed. Very lady-like.  It's called a SMASHCAKE, Bella!  She was quite content with her steady finger-full of frosting.   She was darling and her big sister was all giggles (and just as clean and delicate).  So much fun with these two little girls.
