The Chapmans

It was a little colder than we would have liked, but we were lucky enough to get a little fog for the Chapman Family session.  In a couple weeks these trees will be exploding with reds, yellows, and oranges, but I aways love the vibrant Indiana green.

The Bimmerles

What a great family!  I shot these right outside the Bimmerle's home on an only slightly humid, August morning, but when I got home and found this one with the gorgeous teenage daughters and their adorable pugs, that was when I really melted. I just love being a photographer.  Every session is an exciting project and every family has their own energy.  It's a fun process, especially when I love the results!

Senior Prom

Madie is just as photogenic as they come, so I was pretty excited to shoot her senior prom pictures.  Thanks to a huge down pour, we were getting ready to shoot this session indoors, but just at the last minute, the rain let up and we were able to get some beautiful shots outside.  I'm pretty sure even that down pour couldn't have wiped that smile off her face, though.

Brandon at One

I can't believe it's been a year since I did this little guy's newborn portraits.  It seems like only a few months ago.  Now he's one, and I was so excited when they asked me to do another session to capture him in all his 1-year-old glory.  We were lucky enough to get a 70 degree day in February (that's pretty rare in Indianapolis) so we headed down town to the White River State Park.  I love the architecture and textures down there.   Brandon was busy crawling and cruising, which kept this 38 weeks pregnant photographer on the move, but I didn't mind.  1-year-old portraits are so fun.

Hannah's Senior Portraits

Oh, how I love doing senior portraits and this session was one of my favorites.  Hannah was so much fun and notice how she can pull of everything from a serious face to a full broad smile?  I can't do that.  Even when I think I'm doing a pleasant face, it always seems to come off annoyed or disgusted.
We just moved our family up to Noblesville, Indiana, so I'm still seeking out the best photography locations.  Hannah picked out the Noblesville Square and a great covered bridge just down the road.  Both were such great locations and I found myself falling in love with our new home even more!  I must say, it helped that it was an unusual 70 degrees November day, though.
